Two Microsoft add-ons for Firefox blocked

I fired up Firefox 3.5.3 this morning and was greeted by a strange popup that said that two of the Microsoft add-ons had been blocked:
- Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.1
- Windows Presentation Foundation 3.5.30729.1
